Iron APIs
- Ferrous Bisglycinate: A glycinate-chelated iron form with intact gastric transit. Absorption occurs via peptide transporters, not the DMT-1 pathway. GI tolerability is significantly better than sulphate or fumarate forms.
- Ferric Carboxymaltose: A polynuclear iron (III)-hydroxide complex for intravenous administration. It delivers high-dose iron repletion in a single infusion. No dextran-related hypersensitivity risk.
- Iron III Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex: A non-ionic macromolecular iron complex with controlled, sustained release. It does not interact with dietary tannins or phytates. Well-suited to oral and food-supplement combination formats.
