Liposomal Technology at IPHEX 2026: The Lipoedge™ API Range

Conventional mineral salts have never fully solved oral bioavailability. Ferrous sulphate is incompletely absorbed and causes significant GI side effects. Standard calcium forms depend on gastric acid for dissolution. Fat-soluble vitamins like D3, K2, and CoQ10 require dietary fat for absorption. Liposomal encapsulation addresses these limitations structurally. The active ingredient is housed within a phospholipid bilayer vesicle. The intestinal epithelium recognises and transports this structure directly. Absorption bypasses the solubility and transporter limitations of free molecules. Calcium Citrate DC: Calcium Citrate DC is formulated for direct compression tabletting. It eliminates wet granulation, reducing manufacturing time and process cost. Compressibility and flow properties are validated for consistent tablet production.

Specialty Folate

L-Methylfolate (L-5-MTHF): L-Methylfolate is the biologically active form of folate. It bypasses the MTHFR enzyme conversion pathway entirely. This makes it clinically relevant for patients with MTHFR gene polymorphisms. Synthetic folic acid cannot perform this function in affected individuals. L-Methylfolate is increasingly specified in prenatal, women’s health, and neurological support formulations.
